Historical Southern Families is a twenty-three-volume series of authoritative genealogies covering a broad spectrum of Southern families. The series was compiled by the late John Bennett Boddie, whose distinguished contributions to Southern genealogy were attested to by his induction as a Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists, and completed by his wife. Each volume contains a number of genealogies running from a few pages to as many as several dozen or more. The following families are included in this volume:
