This work is a transcription of some 3,000 indenture forms on file at the Guildhall in London pertaining to individuals who bound themselves into servitude in the American plantations from 1718 to 1759. In general, the following details are usually provided for each servant: name, parish and county of origin, age, occupation, name of agent, length of service, and destination in the colonies.
